What i found to be the most interesting aspect of Chapter 7 of the textbook was the subject of "Technology". I was very surprised at the various definitions of the word "technology". For example, The National Curriculum Council of the United Kingdom defined technology as the creative application of knowledge, understanding, and skill in designing and making quality products.
One concept that I was very confused about was the subject of "License Agreements". After reading this section of the chapter multiple times and trying to understand what was going on, I just couldn't quite get it.
Question 1: Do you believe the Technology Alliance/Business Alliances will reach a peak in the future the same way it did in the 80s?
Question 2: If so, how can that impact the market as a whole?
I would ask these questions because as you can probably determine from my past posts, I am heavily interested in the ideals of the future. I am always looking forward to what the future holds for various companies and markets in the business world.
Once again I do not disagree with anything that the author has said in this chapter. I am beginning to see many similarities between his mindset and mine.

Half-way Reflection
1. While taking this course I have definitely learned what it is like to do multiple assignments every week. This course requires you to be responsible for your own grade because there is technically no professor grading your assignments. I have developed a major sense of responsibility since being in this course. I have also developed some more organizational skills.
2. The moment when I felt like giving up is pretty funny. I felt like dropping the course from the moment I realized that we were required to grade ourselves in this course. I sat there and actually though whether this course would benefit me or not. My conclusion was that this course was going to help me become more responsible and it did just that. I do believe that I have developed a tenacious attitude. I have gone out and interviewed entrepreneurs and customers around campus. I have gone in front of the camera and talked about my ideas. It has been a great experience so far.
3. The first tip is to make sure you are ready to do atleast 6 assignments per week. Make sure you are willing to break out of your shell and do things you never thought you've done.
The second tip is to be very honest with yourself when it comes to grading your own assignments. You have to develop that honest mindset to never take advantage of the grading process
The last tip is to have fun with the video assignments. Develop that "tenacious mindset" and just go out without any hesitation and perform the video projects in the best way possible.

Week 7 Reading Reflection
What I found to be the most interesting aspect of Chapter 6 of the textbook was the "Profile Analysis Approach". The Profile Analysis Approach is something that enables entrepreneurs to judge a business venture's potential by sizing up the ventures strength and weaknesses along a number of key dimensions or variables.
One concept that was confusing to me was the subject of "The Feasibility Criteria Approach". The multiple bullet points and factors that tied into this subject made it difficult to understand. I believe this section of the chapter could've been shortened
Question 1: Do you believe that the design methodology development process will be useful in the future?
Question 2: Which, in your opinion, is a better process. The Design Methodology Development process or the Lean Start Up Methodology Process?
I would ask the author these questions because I was very interested in these two processes. I would love to know the author's own personal opinion on the two. I believe the Lean Start Up process is much more effective.
I can't say that I disagree with what the author had to say in this chapter. I find that the further that I venture into this book the more I agree with the author.

Elevator Pitch No. 2
The feedback that I received on my first video was very productive. The people that chose to comment on my post said that my idea was creative and most of them had positive things to say. I was very surprised at the fact that some people said that I looked nervous while I was giving my Elevator Pitch. Knowing me, I know that I never shy away from the camera, so that was surprising to see.
Based on the couple of comments on my abilities to be on camera. I tried to speak louder and look more directly into the camera. I wanted my viewers to feel closer to the idea and to the passion I feel towards my idea.

Week 6 Reading Reflection
What I found to be the most interesting aspect of Chapter 5 of the textbook was the subject of the "Innovation Process". This paragraph explains that most innovations result from a conscious, purposeful search for new opportunities. I read this paragraph and I automatically related it to my own mindset and goals. I can see myself as a young innovator of the future.
One concept that was confusing to me was the chart about the "Critical Thinking Process". I don't know what it is about these charts but they are very confusing to me in this textbook.
Question 1: What do you think are the requirements of an innovator who is aspiring to be the next Steve Jobs of the world?
Question 2: Do companies hire people just to use them for their innovative skills?
I would ask this question because I believe that an innovative mind is highly valuable in this world today. Without these elaborate and special minds there would be no major corporations. There would be no Apple, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. These corporations were all founded by men and women who worked hard to be the "Next Big Thing" in the world.
I can't say that I disagree with anything the author wrote in this chapter. I found this chapter to be highly relatable.

Idea Napkin No.1
1. Who am I?
My name is Brandon Ewing, and I am a freshman here at the University of Florida. I believe that my talents reside in the areas of leadership, speech, creativity, and writing. My aspirations for this business is to set up my clothing trucks on major college campuses across the country. I would also love to see my clothes in major stores in every mall and outlet nationwide. Stores such as H&M and Forever 21 would benefit from having my clothes in their stores. My business would be my number one priority. It would be my only source of income and I would be fully devote my time to the business.
2. What are you offering to customers?
Ewear Clothing would provide high quality, low priced apparel for college students across the country. These people would stand out from the everyday basic people on campus. My clothing line as well as the clothing truck will provide a great experience for students to come to during the course of their day.
3. Who are you offering it to?
My product is for the students who are aspiring to stand out from the rest of the crowd. My customers will be the innovative, future leaders of the world. I am providing this product for people who are like me. I always have goals and strive to be different from the normal people of the world.
4. Why do they care?
Customers will pay me for my product because it will be something that they've never seen before. It will be entirely affordable as well. Nowadays clothing is so expensive and definitely not affordable. Students are on ver low budgets when they're away at school, I am trying to provide them with affordable clothing that they can feel comfortable wearing.
5. What are your core competencies?
I honestly feel as if I have the gift of success. Throughout my life I have always worked hard to achieve my goals and I have fortunately been successful. No one can bring me down once I set my mind to my goal. I will instill this into the creation of my company and use my talents to create the best product that I can.

Week 5 Reading Relfection
What I found to be the most surprising aspect while reading Chapter 4 was the subject on "Ecopreneurship". I didn't know that there was an increasing environmental concerns. Entrepreneurs are focusing more and more on establishing a standard to promote a cleaner environment.
One concept that was confusing to me was the "Triple Bottom Line". The various components of the Triple Bottom Line, along with the bullet points really wasn't the best way for me to review this information.
Question 1: Do you believe the "Environmental Movement" will continue to increase in popularity as people become more knowledgeable of the matter?
Question 2: Do you also believe that Diaspora Networks will increase since there is a higher increase in the amount of immigrants in this country?
I would ask these questions because I am highly interested in the idea of there being a major shift in the way entrepreneurship works in this country as well as globally. I am a person who is an advocate for change so it would be interesting to experience change in the entrepreneurial word.
I disagree with the author on the subject of International Risks and Threats. I don't believe that there are so many international problems that need to be worried about in the entrepreneurial world.

Elevator Pitch No. 1
My business proposition is to bring a "Clothing Truck" consisting of items from my own clothing line of t-shirts, sweaters, and shorts and begin selling these items on the UF Campus. The company would be called "Ewear Clothing". My goal is to have a truck, similar to the concept to a food truck, parked near Turlington or the Plaza of the Americas. I feel that around the UF campus there's very few examples in the differences in the clothes that students wear. My solution is to create a style of apparel that no one has ever seen before and sell it in a setting that no one has ever experienced. With the Ewear Clothing truck I can create an atmosphere where customers will be immersed in a whole new innovative way of buying clothes.
