The feedback that I received on my first video was very productive. The people that chose to comment on my post said that my idea was creative and most of them had positive things to say. I was very surprised at the fact that some people said that I looked nervous while I was giving my Elevator Pitch. Knowing me, I know that I never shy away from the camera, so that was surprising to see.
Based on the couple of comments on my abilities to be on camera. I tried to speak louder and look more directly into the camera. I wanted my viewers to feel closer to the idea and to the passion I feel towards my idea.
Brandon,
ReplyDeleteI think it is great that you were able to find the feedback from your first video to be very productive. I think you definitely approved in the aspect of speaking directly to the camera as well as clear sound! I really like your idea, as well as how created the idea of this new clothing line. It is one of the more unique ideas I have seen for this class! If you are interested in watching my pitch here is the link! http://shannoncea.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no2.html
Hey Brandon, it sounds like you have a cool idea. I've never heard of a clothing truck so seeing something like that on campus would be neat. I know its hard for a lot of college kids to make it over to the mall because of lack of transportation so it's like you are bringing it to them. I thought that you had a really good pitch. If I were to give a piece of advice to improve it I would try filming your pitch standing and maybe moving around a little bit. Best of luck with the idea!

Cool idea, Brandon. I like it. The video was a little dark, so I could not see you very well. I would say for your next pitch to be in a better lit room. Also, I'm curious to know what is going to set you apart from any other clothing apparel store. How are you going to beat our your competition? How is this going to be cost effective? My last critique is to try to refrain from saying "um" or "uh." Other than that, I think you have a great idea going that has a lot of potential. Thanks for sharing! ReplyDeleteBrandon,
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you're into clothing. I completely agree that everyone out here definitely dresses the same. I actually have great friends here who had the same idea and actually created their own brand. They're very passionate and hard working and so far they're doing very well. I think if you behave the same and actually focus on designs and have cool things that you'll do great. You can find my pitch at: kevinramos910.blogspot.com
