1. While taking this course I have definitely learned what it is like to do multiple assignments every week. This course requires you to be responsible for your own grade because there is technically no professor grading your assignments. I have developed a major sense of responsibility since being in this course. I have also developed some more organizational skills.
2. The moment when I felt like giving up is pretty funny. I felt like dropping the course from the moment I realized that we were required to grade ourselves in this course. I sat there and actually though whether this course would benefit me or not. My conclusion was that this course was going to help me become more responsible and it did just that. I do believe that I have developed a tenacious attitude. I have gone out and interviewed entrepreneurs and customers around campus. I have gone in front of the camera and talked about my ideas. It has been a great experience so far.
3. The first tip is to make sure you are ready to do atleast 6 assignments per week. Make sure you are willing to break out of your shell and do things you never thought you've done.
The second tip is to be very honest with yourself when it comes to grading your own assignments. You have to develop that honest mindset to never take advantage of the grading process
The last tip is to have fun with the video assignments. Develop that "tenacious mindset" and just go out without any hesitation and perform the video projects in the best way possible.
I agree with all of the tops that you are giving. Sometimes I wait until the last minute to do assignments, or I don't complete a decent amount of assignments per week, and it is a lot of stress on yourself. I also agree with your last tip. If you do not go full in on the video assignments, you will not learn from them and you will feel awkward. You can not have any hesitation when you do them. ReplyDeleteI have also had to get used to the multiple assignments that are due in this class every week. It is a lot different from most classes with one or two assignments due each week. This type of assignment schedule can certainly develop tenacity
ReplyDeleteGood thing you didn't give up. The requirements of this class have been a positive experience for you that you will be able use throughout the rest of your life.
Make sure that you are willing to stay out of your shell and realize that you can do things that you never thought that you could do, Keep going.
Continue to be honest with yourself and grade yourself on on every assignment that you have to do.
Try to apply your “tenacious mindset” to the rest of the experiences that you will ffind in college and in life after that.
