My Exit Strategy
I will most definitely be passing down this business for future generations to come. I am a firm believer that the only way to keep the true soul of company alive, you must keep the business in the family. I have a strong connection with this concept and I could never see myself being able to give it away for any sum of money. There would be nothing better than to see one of my sons taking on this family business and making it something better than I could've ever imagined it becoming. Honestly, I haven't thought about my exit strategy until doing this assignment. I think that subconsciously this has always been my exit strategy. It has influenced what I hope this company will be in the next five, ten, or hopefully twenty years. I envision this company growing and thriving in the future.

Hey Brandon! I really liked your idea of passing down the company generation after generation. I admire how much you care about your company and that no monetary value would be able to pull you away from it. That could be a large reason why you will be successful because you care and put everything into the business understanding that it is your family's livelihood. ReplyDeleteHey! Keeping businesses in the family are always a good thing, but future generations change and will always want to change something so you will have to be prepared for that. It is good to have strong family values though, that is something that I don't see in too many people today. ReplyDeleteHi Brandon, I admire that you care enough about your business to not sell it off for money because most people just want to see how they can make the most money fast from a company. I like the idea of keeping it in the family, however do keep in mind that perhaps your children might want to pursue other careers, in this case what would you do?
